Vascular Doppler

Doppler ultrasound is a test that uses sound waves to measure the amount of blood flow through your arteries and veins.It is mostly done to see for the blood supple to your arms and legs. Vascular Doppler can detect abnormal flow within an artery or blood vessel. The area on which the test is performed is exposed and the transducer of the ultrasound machine is used to interrogate the blood vessel . No needles or cuts are made. The test is totally non –invasive .

Note : It takes about ½ to 1 hr to complete the test.
