Dor Procedure

Dor Procedure is done for for left ventricular reconstruction. Following a heart attack, some areas of the heart become dilated resulting iin an enlarged rounded heart. Which maight lead to heart failure The goal of this procedure is to restore the heart to a more normal size and shape, so as to improve function. This procedure is usually performed along with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) to ensure optimal blood supply to the heart.
