D0BUT-AMINE Stress Echo

For patients who can’t exercise we do a test where a medication called D0BUT-AMINE is injected to stimulate the heart and increase the heart rate. It tells us that how well your heart tolerates activity and also tells your likelihood of having coronary artery disease. Patient is advised to come overnight fasting for the test because you could feel nauseated during the test. Your referring doctor would advise you to discontinue some of the medications before the test.
